There has been a lot of talk this week about whether or not the Badgers ran up the score against the Indiana Hoosiers. Long touchdown passes, and running plays that your fourth string quarterback punches in for six would lead anybody to believe it was running up the score.
At least the Badgers did not bust out the trick plays. They could have used a hook-and-latter. Or perhaps everybody's favorite the flee-flicker. Then again Bret Bielema could have just done what the coach of a middle school team did. Fake out everybody.
In a middle school football game in Texas the coach of the Driscoll Middle School team called a trick play. Some may call it dirty. Some may call it unfair. The coach calls it the "the penalty play."
The general idea is to fake as if the quarterback is taking the ball to walk off the penalty yardage. Then the quarterback takes off running. The rest is history...
So for this week's "Video of the Week" we present to you: Bielema's Next Big Play
P.s. the game ended in a 6-6 tie.
